Summer, 2012

viernes, 23 de octubre de 2020

Well, my family hardly ever go on vacation, because my parents are hard-workers so, they don't have many free-days and my older sister and older brother have different lifestyle of us with different time, so we don't see us a lot. But, the last vacation or holidays that we have together that I remember, was the 2012 summer.

We traveled to Puerto Montt, in the south of Chile, in a car for 16 hours straight, to go to some auntie's house for 5 days. In that city, we went to natural park and I saw for first time a "copihue", the national flower, also I went to a lake, but the water was so cold that I spend the evening in the lake edge.

After that, we leave Puerto Montt and we visit a lot of cities as we "went up" through the country to the capital, like Osorno, Valdivia, Villarica, Temuco, Concepción and some little cities like Lebu, Niebla, Nacimiento, Constitución. Also, we spend some days in Cobquecura, the epicenter of the 2010 earthquake and we saw the earthquake damage, both structural like in the houses as in the rise and fall of the tide.
